Iceland Sales - Brand / Jan-Mar 2016


Sales in Iceland were up 57.5% for the first three months of 2016 over 2015. The '2016' column reveals sales for Jan-Mar 2016, the '%' column shows market share for 2016. However, the '+/-' column shows increase or decrease as a percentage, based on the first three months of 2016 compared to the whole of 2015. So a plus or minus result isn't necessarily saying sales went up or down, but whether they gained or lost against the market as a whole.

The key to the right shows by colour how brands did in market share movement. Toyota slightly increased its share, while Kia and especially VW lost ground. Nissan and Mazda have had a good start to the year, while Land Rover was the marque that increased the most.
