Land Rover Model Sales - Jan-July 2016


Land Rover sales were up 18.9% in July, 2016 over the same month in 2015. The driving force behind that was the Discovery Sport which is now the biggest selling model. Its sales were up 69%. The Evoque was +12%, RR Sport +21%, Range Rover +8% and Discovery +19%. The Defender was -90%,understandably. Regionally, Europe was +25%, North America +21%, China +43% and Others -12%.

Year to date, the Discovery Sport is +140%, Evoque +2%, RR Sport +1%, Range Rover -7%, Discovery +7% and Defender -51%. Total sales are up 15%, to 261,000 units.

Combining Jaguar and Land Rover, sales are YTD 336,000. Will 600,000 be reached by year's end? That's hard to say but certainly possible, depending on how many F-Pace models can be made.
