Norway Car Sales - Brand / 2016


A series of increases through the decade has pushed passenger car sales into record territory. You don't have to be selling electric or hybrid cars to do well here, but it certainly helps. Volkswagen has been the leader since 2010 and doesn't look like losing it. BMW and Mercedes Benz both had good years, reaching their highest rankings ever.

In the chart below, pale yellow represents a reduction in registrations, pale blue is increase but lost market share. Green is for those exceeding the market growth and finally the salmon colour for those with over 100% increase.
