RSA Sales - Brand / Jan-Jun 2016

This data includes passenger car and light commercial vehicles. Cars alone has VW in front but with LCVs included it goes very much Toyota's way. With total sales down 10%, any increase is good. Five of the top seven makes managed that, with GM in particular having a poor 2016.

At the bottom of the list, AMH represents a sales group that does not release data by brand, just as a combined figure. They took 10% of the market but individual makes can get no recognition in articles like this. Also, Bentley cars have joined Naamsa and have sold 7 cars in the last two months. Because four months are missing I haven't added them to the list below but the total is 7 units out, in case you were wondering. Some brands do not report to neither Naamsa nor AMH and are not counted in the total.
