Serbia Car Sales : 2013

The Capital Belgrade

Serbia has had it's sixth consecutive drop in car sales, from 56,000 in 2007 to 22,000 in 2013. Clearly that reflects economic realities in many parts of Europe. A slowdown of the government's austerity measures may see the economy grow slightly in 2014, but that probably means another challenging year for car sales here.

Skoda enjoyed its second year at the top of the market. FAS, a local brand owned by Fiat and was formerly known as Zastava, came in second and had good growth. There were some sizable reductions in cars sold for some brands.
